Case: Crane Upgrades

Wind Orca - Crane Extension

For Cadeler AS, we extended the crane boom on the Wind Orca in Esbjerg from November 2021 to March 2022. We installed a 7-metre boom insert, performed load testing, and achieved certification. The scope included demobilizing the crane, constructing a habitat for cutting and welding, conducting NDT and painting, and reinstalling and rewiring the crane for successful recertification.

Case: Vessel Mobilization

Vessel Upgrade & Mobilization Seajacks Scylla

For Seajacks UK Limited, Align Oil & Gas upgraded and mobilised the Seajacks Scylla in Esbjerg from October 2020 to February 2021. The scope included transporting and modifying 700 tons of sea fastening, installing a Ballast Water Treatment System, and performing vessel reinforcement, thruster seal replacement, hull cleaning, and painting.

Wind Orca and Wind Osprey - New Cranes

For Cadeler A/S, we executed a project in Rotterdam from October 2023 to March 2024. The scope included planning, supplier coordination, installing a new boom rest, and reinforcing the crane pedestal. We worked on two vessels simultaneously, managed the EPCI scope, performed electrical upgrades, modified mooring spaces, and achieved recertification and third-party approval.

Case: MHI Vestas Offshore Wind A/S

Fabrication of spreader bar

The spreader bar is designed as a combined tool so that it can be used for lifting of different load configurations. The scope also included the delivery of a complete set of lifting gear consisting of Cortland Dyneema Cordura slings, a wide body shackle and a plate shackle. All lifting gear was delivered according to DNV approval from Esbjerg, Denmark (2016).
